Terms and Conditions of Service

Effective Date: October 18, 2025

Welcome to That Too! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the That Too website and your purchase of any custom services, upcycled garments, or products from us. By using this website and placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. General Conditions and Acceptance

Eligibility: By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence.

Purpose: The services provided by That Too are based on the belief that the clothes need fixing, not the person. Our goal is to create custom, inclusive, and sustainable clothing solutions.

Modification: We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

2. Custom Services and Products

A. Accuracy of Client Information:
When commissioning a custom garment or upcycling service, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including measurements, fabric preferences, and design details. We are not responsible for finished garments that do not fit due to inaccurate measurements provided by the client.

B. Design Approval (Commissions):
For custom commissions, the process will involve a design consultation and agreement. Once the design is approved by you, any significant changes requested during the creation process may result in additional charges and a delay in completion time.

C. Upcycling and Materials:
When using existing or secondhand materials (upcycling), you acknowledge that the final product's appearance may vary slightly due to the unique nature, wear, and tear of the source materials.

3. Pricing, Billing, and Payment

Pricing: Prices for our products and services are subject to change without notice.

Custom Deposits: Custom commissions and upcycling projects typically require a non-refundable deposit to secure the project and cover initial material costs. This will be outlined in your project quote.

Payment Security: We use third-party payment processors (such as PayPal or Stripe) for all transactions. We do not store your full credit card information.

4. Shipping, Returns, and Exchanges

A. Shipping:
Risk of loss and title for all items purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.

B. Custom and Upcycled Items (No Returns):
Due to the custom and highly personalized nature of our work (based on your specific measurements and design choices), all sales of custom-made and upcycled items are final and non-refundable.

C. Adjustments and Alterations:
If an issue arises due to an error in our crafting or measuring process, we will happily work with you to make reasonable adjustments and alterations free of charge. This must be reported within 14 days of receiving the item.

5. Intellectual Property

Website Content: All content on the That Too website, including text, logos, and images, is the property of That Too and is protected by copyright laws.

Custom Design Ownership: While you own the finished physical garment, That Too retains the intellectual property rights to the underlying design processes, patterns, and techniques developed during the creation of your custom piece, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

That Too shall not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if That Too has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
