Commitment to Sustainability and Ethical Practice
Effective Date: October 18, 2025

At That Too, our mission extends beyond the fitting room. We are committed to fostering a "Softer World" where people and the planet are prioritized over profit and policy. This policy outlines our dedication to environmental stewardship, social equity, and conscious creation in every aspect of our business.

1. Conscious Materials and Circularity
We actively minimize our environmental footprint by integrating principles of circularity into our craft.
Upcycling and Transformation: Our primary focus is on giving new life to old garments and materials. By transforming existing textiles, we dramatically reduce the need for virgin resources and divert clothing waste from landfills.
Low-Impact Sourcing: We prioritize the use of secondhand, deadstock, and remnant fabrics wherever possible. When new materials are necessary, we seek out those with certified ethical and environmental standards.
Waste Minimization: We strive for a near zero-waste process in our studio. Fabric scraps are managed responsibly—either repurposed for smaller projects (e.g., trims, patches) or donated for recycling.
2. Ethical Production and Labor
Our commitment to ethical practice ensures that the creation of every garment respects human dignity and labor.
Local Production: All design, crafting, and finishing work is done locally, ensuring oversight of working conditions and supporting the local economy.
Fair Practice: We reject the fast-fashion model of exploitative labor. Our pricing reflects the true cost of skilled labor, time, and ethical sourcing, valuing the hands that bring the vision to life.
Inclusive Creation: Our foundational belief—that the clothes need fixing, not the person—guides every commission, ensuring a respectful and affirming experience for all clients, particularly those marginalized by standard size systems.
3. External Impact and Advocacy
We extend our commitment through regular support of organizations dedicated to creating a better world for people, animals, and the environment.
4. Continuous Improvement
Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. We commit to regularly reviewing our sourcing and production methods to identify areas for improvement and maintain transparency with our community regarding our practices and progress.
